Chinese Pepper Steak
This is a beef recipe that is famous from the 70s time. The beef bouillon is cooked with soy sauce, cornstarch, crushed garlic, vegetable oil, sirloin steak, sugar, and water.
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1/2 tsp sugar
- 1/2 cup beef bullion
- 1/4 cup water
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- 1 1/2 lb sirloin steak, 1 inch thick, cut into thin 2 inch long strips
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- 1 clove garlic, crushed
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp ground ginger
- 1 tsp ground black pepper
- 3 medium green bell peppers, julienned
- 2 medium onions
- 1 6-ounce can of water chestnuts, drained
- 4 green onions, chopped
