Hoki is also known as blue grenadier, blue hake, New Zealand whiptail, whiptail or whiptail hake. They are long sleek fish that grow up to 1.3 metres in length and are found at depths of 10-1000 metres. Hoki meat is delicate, succulent and tastes slightly sweet, producing a medium flake once cooked.
This NZ Ocean-catch Hoki Boneless and Skinless Fillets are all certified under the Marine Stewardship Council (MSC) program so you know they are sustainably caught in New Zealand.
Ocean Catch NZ Hoki fish has a delicate and sweet flavour similar to their cousin of the cod has moist, bright-white flesh, occasionally with pinkish tinges, that remains white when cooked.
Ocean catch is 100% natural, no hormones or antibiotics.
Please take note that these fish fillets are supposed to be boneless but from time to time there may be small bones that were missed so take care in checking for bones during preparation, cooking or consumption.

How to thaw meat and seafood safely?
Our butchers cut to order as accurately as possible but there maybe a +/-10% variance. Our products are snap frozen to maintain its texture, flavour and for ease of transport across Hong Kong.
When Butchering from the Primal Cut the individual steaks may vary in size and thickness to meet the weight specification.
