Tempranillo, Graciano and Mazuelo are the three classic Rioja grape varieties. Graciano provides a very lively colour and high acidity; Mazuelo flavour and abundant tannin, both together with Tempranillo are the perfect coupage for long ageing wines. True to Rioja, true to its origins.

Cherry red develops into an intense ruby colour. Intense and complex. Well-integrated sweet and warm hints with ripe fruit, notes of vanilla and sensations of cinnamon, blond tobacco and cocoa.

Elegant in the mouth, structured and with good acidity. The finish is sweet and surprising for a Rioja Gran Reserva. There is an aftertaste of the blend of very ripe fruit, vanilla and roasted notes.

Gran Maestro Primitivo di Manduria 2020 (Italy)

Extraordinary Italian Wines utilizes a technique called ‘Appassimento’, where the grapes are partially dried for at least a couple of months, and once the wine has been pressed, it is fermented together with the grape must. This process imparts richness and complexity to the wines, using a style that is usually reserved for the famous Ripasso wines from Veneto.

Intense aromas of juicy berries, freshly cooked plums, and spicy notes of cocoa, vanilla, and tobacco, complemented by fine herbs and freshly roasted coffee flavours on the palate. Full-bodied and round with soft, sweet tannins. Partially produced from overripe grapes that are processed using the appassimento method.

Atilius Prestigio Chianti Riserva DOCG 2018 is Chianti at its finest and charms connoisseurs in Italy and around the world, for its firm character and tannins.

Handmade from the best Sangiovese grapes, oak-aged for two years before being refined in bottle for an additional year, Atilius Prestigio is fascinating and harmonious, with a beautiful cellaring potential, revealing a seductive nose of wild berries, violet and toasted vanilla.

On the palate, it has an intense and round body, lingering into a smooth and tannic finish. Its velvety structure is delicious with anything earthy and aromatic such as osso buco, aged cheeses or roasted lamb.

Campillo Crianza 2018 (Spain)

Bodegas Campillo is one of the few examples of the château model in Rioja. Surrounded by 50 hectares of vineyards and protected by the Sierra Cantabria, Bodegas Campillo is located in the heart of Rioja Alavesa, in the medieval town of Laguardia.

This Crianza has all the hallmarks of an old-school Rioja, Dark fruits and Vanilla on the nose, the palate is smooth and the finish is warm and spicy.
