How To Prepare Greek Style Lamb Steaks? 😍😍🌈🌈 

Experience the bold and savory flavours of Greece with our juicy lamb steak, marinated to perfection in a blend of Mediterranean herbs and served with a side of creamy tzatziki sauce. 

Product: 

UK Welsh Premium Lamb Steaks (2 x 120g per pack) 

Preparation Time: 15 mins (marinate time 1 hour+) / Cook Time: 15 mins / Serving: 2 
 
Ingredients: 

2 UK Welsh Premium Lamb Steaks (4 steaks) 

1/4 cup olive oil 

2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice 

2 cloves garlic, minced 

1 tablespoon chopped fresh rosemary 

1 tablespoon chopped fresh oregano 

Salt and pepper, to taste 

1 cup Greek yogurt 

1/2 cucumber, grated and drained 

2 cloves garlic, minced 

1 tablespoon extra-virgin olive oil 

1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice 

1 tablespoon chopped fresh dill 

Salt and pepper, to taste 

Instructions: 

  1. In a small bowl, whisk together the olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, chopped rosemary, chopped oregano, salt, & pepper. 
  2. Place the lamb steaks in a shallow dish. Pour the marinade over the lamb steaks, making sure to coat them evenly. Cover with plastic wrap & refrigerate for at least 1 hour, or overnight. 
  3. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. 
  4. Remove the lamb steaks from the marinade & discard any excess marinade. 
  5. Grill the lamb steaks for 3-4 minutes per side, or until cooked to your desired level of doneness. 
  6. Remove the lamb steaks from the grill & let them rest for a few minutes. 
  7. In a medium bowl, mix the Greek yogurt, grated & drained cucumber, minced garlic, extra-virgin olive oil, lemon juice, chopped fresh dill, salt, & pepper to make the tzatziki sauce. 
  8. Serve the lamb steaks with a dollop of the creamy tzatziki sauce on top. You can also serve with a side of Greek-style salad or roasted vegetables, if desired.
