This is quite an easy recipe and is also one of the most high in demand one in different restaurants of Hong Kong. The pork is marinated first in red wine and then it is sautéed with spring onions.

How To Prepare Fried Pork With Spring Onions?

Ingredients:

  • 400g pork rump
  • 5cm ginger
  • 1 onion
  • 2 tbsp cooking oil
  • 5 stalks spring onions
  • 50ml water
  • 1 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1 tbsp light soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp corn flour
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 1/2 tsp sugar

Instructions:

  1. Sliced the pork rump into thin slices.
  2. Marinade the pork slices for 30 minutes or more with oyster sauce , light soy sauce, sesame oil, sugar and corn flour.
  3. Thinly sliced the ginger, cut the onion into wedges, and sliced spring onions into about 6cm long.
  4. Heat 2 tbsp cooking oil in a pan, sauté ginger and onion until aromatic.
  5. Add pork and stir fry over high heat until well mixed. Add in 50ml of water and cook until all the pork are cooked.
  6. Lastly add in spring onions and stir evenly for about 3 minutes. Dish up and serve.
