Ingredients:
- 4 UK Welsh Premium Lamb Burgers
- 4 burger buns
- 4 lettuce leaves
- 4 slices of tomato
- 4 slices of red onion
- Olive oil
- For the feta yogurt sauce:
- 1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt
- 1/4 cup crumbled feta cheese
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tbsp chopped fresh mint
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
- Preheat a grill or grill pan to medium-high heat.
- Brush both sides of the lamb burger patties with olive oil.
- Place the patties on the grill and cook for 3-4 minutes per side, or until they reach an internal temperature of 160°F (71°C).
- While the patties are cooking, make the feta yogurt sauce. In a small bowl, combine the Greek yogurt, crumbled feta cheese, minced garlic, lemon juice, chopped mint, salt, and pepper. Mix well until all the ingredients are combined.
- To assemble the burgers, place a lettuce leaf on the bottom bun, followed by a slice of tomato and a slice of red onion.
- Add the cooked lamb burger patty on top of the vegetables, then spoon the feta yogurt sauce over the patty.
- Top the burger with the top bun and serve immediately.
