Casa de las Especias Petit Verdot Monastrell 2016 (Spain)
Ripe red cherry, deep with sharp violet edge in colour. Highlights the red fruit, with a slight floral touch of violets. Very intense and structured with a great tannic structure that fills our mouth, fair acidity and long aftertaste.
Casalforte Valpolicella Ripasso DOC 2018 (Italy)
After a careful selection of Valpolicella grapes with high sugar content, vinification takes place with the Ganimede system where the grape skins and wine are continuously mixed in order to extract colour and tannins.
During the winter, Valpolicella wine is passed over the skins remaining from the production of Amarone using the traditional “Ripasso” tecnique, which increases the alcohol, body and perfumes of the wine. The resulting wine is aged partly in stainless steel and partly in oakwood casks for 12 months.
Casalforte Valpolicella Ripasso is a dry and full-bodied wine, with a complex perfume of cherries, red fruits and spices. It’s the ideal match for roast and grilled red meats, stews and mature cheeses.
Gran Maestro Primitivo di Manduria 2020 (Italy)
Extraordinary Italian Wines utilizes a technique called ‘Appassimento’, where the grapes are partially dried for at least a couple of months, and once the wine has been pressed, it is fermented together with the grape must. This process imparts richness and complexity to the wines, using a style that is usually reserved for the famous Ripasso wines from Veneto.
Eisenstone Stockwell Barossa Valley Shiraz SR805 2018 (Australia)
This is the first release from the Stockwell region of the Barossa Valley. The grapes were sourced from close to the township in the north east part of the Barossa Valley. The soils are continuation of the red ironstone soils that sweep across the west and north of the valley.
The wine has a deep rich red colour and lashings of berry fruit flavours. The use of stylish French barrels adds to the complexity and length of the wine.
Only 800 bottles, each individually numbered.
"Matured in French oak (30% new) for 20 months, 133 cases made. It's full-bodied, flush with black fruits and in normal Barossa Valley style.

Domaines Barons de Rothschild Los Vascos Cabernet Sauvignon 2020 (Chile)
Cabernet Sauvignon is the classic grape of Los Vascos’ vineyard and is the variety on which the estate has built its reputation. The common feature of all the vintages is ripe fruit, fresh aromas, and a supple, full-bodied structure. This wine has a sparkling ruby red colour and a pleasantly fruity nose with aromas of black cherries, raspberries and plums, all with a hint of spice. This is a silky, flavourful wine, with a supple tannin structure. A great classic.
Château Auzias Instinct Terrien AOP Cabardès 2017 (France)
The formerly little-known appellation of Cabardès made it into our Decanter World Wine Awards 'Best in Show' selection in London in spring 2018, and now the AOP has done it again, with yet another outstanding effort, this time impressing our Asian judges. This blend of 60% Cabernet Franc with 30% Syrah and 10% Grenache is saturatedly black-red in colour, surrendering fresh, floral aromas backed by enticing black-raspberry and mulberry fruits. On the palate, the wine is deep yet full of lively charm, perfectly summarising the 'crossover' appeal of this appellation, which lies half-way between the Atlantic and the Mediterranean. Fine-grained tannins and lacy, billowing acidity carry that raspberry/mulberry fruit all the way to a fresh, graceful finish. Cabernet Franc fans should seek it out. Drink 2018-2026
