Casalforte Garganega Veronese 2019 (Italian)

This Garganega is distinguished by a unique sense of citrus fruitiness with tangerine skin, preserved lemon and grapefruit. Beyond those bright aromas, the wine also offers soothing tones of white peach and honeydew melon.

Journey's End Chardonnay 2021 (South African)

"Clear and bright, straw with a hint of green. Expressive fruit, initially lemon and citrus, but under that, it’s more tropical and pineapple, all seamed through with crushed almond, savoury oak tones.

This is a layered, complex wine, the result of cool-grown fruit carefully handled, plus barrel selection. The palate is silky, with a tangy finish from the fruit and acid combination, extending the flavours."

The wine is dense, deep red in colour. The flavours are fresh wild berry, mulberries and other dark fruits. French oak integrates with the fruit and lend a savoury spice nuance without dominating. The wine is generous and opulent in while young and this will continue to develop as it ages. As the wine matures the flavours will develop towards fruitcake, licorice, chocolate and mocha.

Casalforte Corvina IGT 2019 (Italian)

Castelforte Pinot Nero is a refined and elegant red wine with scents of berries and juniper on the nose and hints of vanilla and cinnamon. It's vibrancy and excellent length on the palate make it the ideal accompaniment to cured meats and roasted or grilled red meats.

Domaines Barons de Rothschild Los Vascos Cabernet Sauvignon 2020 (Chilean)

Cabernet Sauvignon is the classic grape of Los Vascos’ vineyard and is the variety on which the estate has built its reputation. The common feature of all the vintages is ripe fruit, fresh aromas, and a supple, full-bodied structure. This wine has a sparkling ruby red colour and a pleasantly fruity nose with aromas of black cherries, raspberries and plums, all with a hint of spice. This is a silky, flavourful wine, with a supple tannin structure. A great classic.
