Customer Operations Support

With some experience in:

  • SMO, SEO and Google Analytics; and
  • Web maintenance (eg. Shopify/ Wix.com)

We are looking for a professional, reliable, independent, fun and loving person. Who loves eating meat, seafood, and passionate in managing customer operations and eCommerce marketing.  Must hold a valid working HK Visa with HKID, Bilingual (English/Chinese) and preferably a Degree.

What you’ll be doing?

  • Manage day to day operations of customers’ enquiries and respond in an efficient and professional manner
  • Monitor & improve the Customer Service and Operations process to increase customer satisfaction
  • Responsible for maintaining company website in Shopify to optimise customer experience
  • Plan and execute marketing campaigns with concrete technical skills on various digital platform, such as Google Business, Meta and Mailchimp
  • Be the leader in strategising, managing and executing the eCom operations based on Shopify
  • Manage Shopify website layouts and user interfaces with HTML and CSS, and ensure cross-browser compatibility of new features
  • Utilise accurate technical tools to enhance SMO / SEO to increase online traffic and, improve conversions and lead generation
  • Liaise closely with the product, sales team and other cross-functional departments to ensure seamless delivery of projects
  • Duties as directed by Management

Who are we looking for?

  • Preferred Bachelor’s degree in IT with experience in Customer Service Operations, eCommerce, or related disciplines (preferably Australian or British educated)
  • A minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience in an customer operations and web maintenance in small to medium organisation with at least 3 years with eCommerce (Shopify) / Online Retail / F&B industry / Social Media
  • Experience in executing online campaigns with proven outstanding performance 
  • An understanding of digital marketing tools & models, technology trends and market best practice
  • Proven working experience in performance marketing, social media and content management system like Shopify and MailChimp with a track record of delivering outstanding performance
  • Competent skills in graphic designs and video creation for social media posting
  • Business acumen and exhibits strong balance of creativity and analytical skills 
  • Self-motivated and passionate about online marketing channels
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Good command of spoken and written English & Chinese and Chinese word processing skill
  • Proficiency in the usage of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel & PowerPoint), Canva, Photoshop and other graphic & video editing software
  • Based in Hong Kong with ability to work remotely and, is independent and mature
  • You will have great advantage if you have:
    • Ability to code HTML
    • IT operation experience

Key Responsibilities:

  • Pivotal role to grow and build e-Commerce Customer Service Operations built on Shopify platform
  • Manage day to day operations of customers’ enquiries and respond in an efficient and professional manner
  • Handle in-coming orders, deliveries, complaints, comments and compliments via different feedback channels with solution / alternatives provided
  • Monitor & improve the Customer Service and Operations process to increase customer satisfaction
  • Provide quality and timely customer services or solutions to our customers
  • Formulate, implement, review and update guidelines and handling processes to reduce dispute and complaints
  • Perform any other ad hoc projects and assignments as assigned
  • Management of Inbound enquiries

 Key Requirements:

  • Preferred Bachelor’s degree in IT Service Operations, Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, Marketing, Hospitality (F&B) or related disciplines (preferably Australian educated)
  • A minimum of 8 years’ relevant experience in customer service in sizable organisation in which at least 5 years with eCommerce (Shopify) / IT Retail experience / F&B industry / Social Media / Online Retail 
  • Strong passion for delivering excellent customer service
  • Customer-oriented with excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Excellent people management, motivation and leadership skills
  • Be flexible and work under fast-paced environment
  • High level of self-motivated and target-oriented mind
  • Excellent command of both spoken and written English and Chinese (including Mandarin)
  • Proficiency of advanced usage of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel & PowerPoint) and Chinese Word Processing 
  • Ability to code HTML/JAVAScript and Graphic Design would be a huge bonus
  • Proficient skills in graphic designs and video making for social media posting
  • Proficient knowledge of eCommerce platforms eg. Shopify 
  • Strong delivery management of logistic companies eg. SF Express
  • Based in Hong Kong with the ability to work remotely, independent and mature
  • Proficient knowledge of Google, YouTube, Facebook and Instagram platforms

  • Experience in managing paid search, programmatic campaigns and analytics tools for a growing e-commerce business of the organisation or its clients 
  • Experience in email marketing, social media marketing; affiliate marketing is an advantage 
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing tools & models, technology trends and market best practice 
  • Strong business acumen and exhibits strong balance of creativity and analytical skills 
  • Self-motivated and passionate about online marketing channel
