Using the Steak Thermometer:
• Peel off the protective film before first use
• Unfold the probe to activate temperature measurement instantly
• Press the °C/°F button to switch temperature units
• Use the HOLD button to freeze the reading before removing the probe
• Hold the HOLD button for 3 seconds to view maximum and minimum recorded temperatures
• Press the light button to activate the backlight (auto-off after a few seconds)
Calibration Instructions:
• Place the probe in ice water, ensuring it touches the ice underwater
• Once stable, press and hold the CAL button for 5 seconds
• When the display flashes, adjust using the °C/°F button (increase) or HOLD button (decrease) until correct
Care, Cleaning & Safety:
• Do not leave the thermometer inside the oven during cooking
• Always use heat-resistant gloves when handling the probe after cooking
• Clean the stainless steel probe with soapy water and dry thoroughly
• Clean the thermometer body with a damp cloth or running water
• Do not immerse the unit in water during cooking
• Do not use in rain or expose the unit to direct heat
• Sterilise the probe by placing it in boiling water for several minutes
• Do not use the probe above 300°C / 572°F
• Do not use stainless steel probes in microwave ovens
